God “…created my inmost being…” (Ps 139:13a NIV). We are each unique with unique talents, skills, and creative abilities.

I wish I could paint, play a musical instrument, sing well enough to make people shiver, or any other more commonly recognized creative pursuit, but that is not me. However, I believe that we can express our creativity through a variety of pursuits. A beautiful garden, a delicious homemade meal, a well-executed event, a balanced checkbook, or a conversation to lift someone’s spirits, among many other things.

I enjoy knitting. I enjoy the challenge of a pattern with new techniques. And, when I am knitting a beautiful and challenging pattern, I feel as if I am creating a work of art. Appreciate your unique art form, whatever it is.
