Knitting on a road trip always sounds like such a good idea. A great idea. And it is. Planning which yarns and needles to bring. Always paper, graph, and plain, and a mechanical pencil. I always feel so inspired by the new scenery. Then there is the excitement of visiting new-to-me yarn stores and finding new-to-me yarn brands. My last major road trip yarn was to Savannah and Santa Fe where I discovered both beautiful yarns and lovely yarn shops.
